Freedom in Christ

What it is

A 13 week discipleship course, with clear effective teaching.

A Freedom appointment which effectively helps each person to identify
and resolve personal and spiritual baggage from their past and become
fruitful disciples.

Freedom in Christ professes that all Christians face the same basic issue:

Are we really believing the truth about ourselves and about God?

Jesus said that it's when we know the truth that it sets us free. So,
although it is true for a deeply wounded Christian that their past
experience makes no difference to who they are now - they are a child
of God pure and accepted by Him - they usually do not know that
truth, at least not in a way that they can "connect"
with.

We fail to connect with the truth because of :-

1.
Spiritual conflicts
If
we have taken part in spiritually damaging activities in the past, we
need to exercise the authority we have in Christ to repent of our involvement and take away the enemy's ability to cloud our thinking.
We also need to forgive from the heart those who have hurt us - a
hard process for those who have been deeply hurt but one that will
liberate them from bondage to those events and people.

2.
Strongholds

These are ways of thinking that we have grown used to over many years that are
not based on truth. The Bible calls this "renewing our minds"
and until we do we all remain stuck in our past.

Become the person God created you to be, become an effective disciple.

Nothing is too difficult for God.

No one is too messed up.

No one or has problems too deep.

Jesus can resolve them and set the captive free to live wholesome fruitful lives as His disciple.
