Wellspring Blessings!

With a conference title like 'Wellspring' we knew that God was going to shower us with blessings, but we hadn't realised it was going to be physical showers as well as spiritual showers! Actually it was more like torrential rain than showers! Some folk got washed out and had to find bed & breakfast in Wadebridge, and others in the Truro bunch ended up moving tents three times!

But what a marvellous week it was! Despite the weather God really blessed us with wonderful fellowship, fantastic opportunities to worship Him, and amazing teaching. We got to know each other perhaps in a new way because of all the adverse conditions, and also made new friends. The children were most unconcerned about the rain - the younger they were the less concerned! If you hadn't laughed much for awhile, then you certainly would have this week - and that was mostly in the evening services!

If you didn't fancy the 'self-catering' bit, then there were lots of lovely prepared foods to choose - from hog roast, burgers, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, and of course the good ol' cornish pasty!

If you weren't able to come this year, we can thoroughly recommend the week to you. (3-7 August 2009). We felt richly blessed and renewed to go back home and be more effective witnesses of the love of God as shown in His Son, the Lord Jesus.

So, we look forward to seeing you next year!
