Growth Groups
What are they?
As a church, we meet together in smaller groups during the week. These small groups provide the perfect setting to meet with friends, be supported and encouraged and to grow deeper in your relationship with God. These groups, which we call Growth Groups, are small by design (8 – 12 people) and are linked together with a number of other Growth Groups to form a cluster of Growth Groups known as a Congregation.
How do they work?
A typical evening begins at 7:30pm with coffee and then worshiping together with other Growth Groups from the congregation in a slightly larger setting before breaking down into the smaller Growth Groups. Here there is the opportunity to pray and to enjoy a time of sharing and teaching. From time to time Growth Groups and Congregations may organize social events. In essence they are a place where you can belong, receive pastoral care, grow in your faith and have fun.
Where do they meet?
We currently have one Congregation consisting of three Growth Groups that meet on Tuesdays at 7:30pm during term time at Treyew School. Below is a list of the Growth Group leaders who help run the Truro congregation.
- Neil & Sue
- Roger & Sue
- Margaret & Ken
All of the groups warmly welcome visitors. This allows you to find the group that best suits you, even though it’s not necessarily the closest geographically. Please feel free to contact Pastor Jonny Giddens on 01872 263204 or email him here for more information.
