"Wellspring" A teenagers perspective

Wellspring watering

It was the third day of wellspring. The sky was cloudless and the grass beneath me was warm. I crept up behind my friend with a cup full of water. He turned round ... and I chucked it all over him. That was it –the start of a war. Game on! For the next hour or so every child and teenager from our church began an enormous water fight. By the time we were finished, nobody was dry. The water fight was fun (and wet!), but what followed was better. Every youth meeting I went to god was poured upon me like the water. By the end of the meetings nobody was dry, and many were soaked. At Wellspring god showed me a certain bible verse that I would like to share with you all. ‘We cannot keep quiet. We must speak about what we have seen and heard’- Acts 4v.20. This really spoke to me; God showed me so much and shared so much that week. He filled me with his love, inspired me to do great things and brought me such joy. How can I keep quiet about that? I believe that god told me that week to start a mission to share him and spread his word and love. Wellspring was brilliant and now I am back in the real world I want to start my mission. I would recommend wellspring as a fun and life changing experience to anyone of any age. One question remains- I wonder what will happen next year?
