St Austell Church Plant

On Saturday 26th July, Porthpean Beach near St Austell was the place to be!  A good crowd of people joined together for puppets and picnics!

This was the first public expression of a belief that God was planting a L & L Church in St Austell.  Pastor John and Pastor Jonny, together with members of the L & L Churches in Helston and Truro, joined with folk from St Austell to share the 'Good News' about new life in Jesus Christ.

A number of families and children from the local area had been invited, and it was wonderful to see such a large group of people together enjoying the sunshine, and getting to know each other.

And it wasn't just the children who enjoyed the puppet show put on by young people from St Austell!  We all listened to the Christian message, and laughed as the puppets sang popular songs, with Christian words added.

Pastor John gave a short message to the crowd, and we pray that people will have responded in their hearts to the love of God for them.

We meet again on Sat 30th August, 2.30pm at Caerhays Beach for beach games.  We hope to see you there - bring a picnic
