What we do

Sunday Family Service

Our Sunday worship is based in Mounts Bay school, Heamoor, 10:30am. During the service there are youth and children’s groups, contemporary music, a relevant talk, all wrapped up with coffee and biscuits. Click here to listen to the latest sermons.

Monthly Specials

On the first Sunday evening of each month we join other Light & Life churches from across West Cornwall for an evening of celebration in Helston. Find out more about our Monthly Specials.

Youth and children

We have a thriving youth and children’s work for all ages. Little Fish crèche (0-3yrs), Kingdom Kids (4-10 yrs), Tweenagers (11-15yrs) and Youth GrowthGroup (15-20yrs). Contact Charlotte Ollerton for more information: c.ollerton@lightandlife.co.uk

Growth Groups

These meet all through the week and all over Penwith. We have evening and day-time groups for all ages and backgrounds. These informal meetings are a great way to get to know people, study the Bible and pray together.

Prayer time

Seeking God and praying for the church to be built and lost people to be saved. Mondays, 7:30-9:00pm, fortnightly.

Light and Life Centre

Most of our mid-week activities are based in the Light and Life Centre in the Wharfside Shopping centre in the heart of Penzance town. We run a variety of courses, events and activities in the Centre:

• Pastors time
  A listening ear, advice and prayer
• Alpha Course
  a relaxed and relevant introduction to the Christian faith Link
• Bible School
  for those wanting to dig deeper into the Bible Link
• Senior citizens meetings
• Marriage enrichment course
• Parenting course
