Happening every Friday 7.30-8.30am at the Light & Life Centre in Penzance. Join in with us lads to finish off the week with a glorious early breakfast! Bacon sandwiches, cereals, hot drinks and fruit juice mixed with chats, a short talk and some power prayer should give you enough fuel for the day. Simply drop in or ask for more information by emailing the office.

Light & Life Church Penwith are partnered with CreationFest to bring the Movement Roadshow to Hayle and Penzance!

The festival featured great live bands, a skate and scooter contest, as well as a family area with a bouncy castle and face painting. There was something for all the family, and was all for free!

It was at Hayle recreation ground on Friday 23rd September, from 4-8pm, and in Penzance on Saturday 24th, at the Princess May recreation ground (opposite Humphry Davy School), from 11-6pm.

Sweet!

Once again we've had the privilege of baptising many more people. Below are some great pictures of the happy baptisees, who have publicly declared their love for Jesus by getting wet in public!

Six more people braved the sea off Marazion beach on Sunday 28th June to show publicly their committment to Jesus Christ and his church. Baptisms are always great events and this one was no exception. All the baptisees gave testimony at our Sunday meeting to how Jesus has changed their lives, and then straightafterwards it was down to the beach to watch them get wet and then share a picnic together.

We had a great time on Easter Sunday, filling St John's Hall in Penzance with over 450 people! For the first time, we have videoed the service and you can view the sermon, testimonies and the baptisms right here.

It was our privilege on the the first Sunday of the new year to baptise five more people from the church. These baptism services are so exciting as each of the 'baptisees' shares his or her testimony of how their life has changed since meeting Jesus.

It's one thing hearing a sermon or good news second hand, but hearing it first hand and seeing the excitement and gratitude in the faces of those being baptised is something else.

Great news!

Penwith Light & Life have planted a new congregation in Hayle from the 11th January 2009. The congregation meets in Bodriggy School in Hayle at 4:30pm. There is contemporary worship, a relevant talk, children's and youth work, plus tea and coffee to round everything off by 6pm.

A warm welcome awaits anybody living in the Hayle and surrounding areas, or further afield!

Eleven more Christians were baptised on Marazion beach last Sunday in a public statement of how theri lives have been transformed by trusting in Jesus.

Two hundred people came to the beach to watch the spectacle, and to enjoy a picnic together.

On the 14th September we'll be hitting the beach at Marazion again for anopther round of baptisms. It's great to see people publicy acknowledge that Jesus has changed their lives. Maybe you can be one of them?

There was reason to celebrate on Marazion beach recently as we baptised six of our folk in the sea. Over two hundred people gathered to watch the event which was followed by a barbecue on the beach. The event made the Cornishman newspaper, and was a real celebration of the saving grace of Jesus Christ in changing people's lives.

The six people getting wet gave testimony at the morning meeting before going to the beach, and each one shared how Jesus had changed them for the better.
