Bereavement

Jesus knew what it felt like to lose a loved one. One of his best friends, Lazarus, died and the Bible tells us that Jesus wept at his graveside.

The job of the church is to show the compassion of Christ to a grieving world and we offer a bereavement counselling service which aims to do just that. When you have lost a loved one, the last things you need are glib answers; you need someone to sit with you and to listen sympathetically.
