On Saturday 7th July, Penzance Light & Life held a slave auction in aid of Tearfund. Designed to raise awareness of the huge problem of human trafficking, various people offered services for auction, from babysitting to gardening and even private maths tuition! There was a car washing service on the day and a great time was had by all. Most importantly though, over £1,600 was raised at the event.
